Glossy ibis
Fantastic photo opportunities with this glossy ibis. It appeared briefly at Chew about a week ago, and was then equally elusive at Catcott. It then moved to Greylake where it feeds close to the boardwalk and not far from the road - it's almost like photographing a captive bird. The white lines either side of the lores make me feel it's an adult in winter plumage, rather than a juvenile.
