The linking page shows a blue shark caprtured on the pelagic on 30 July. Three more were caught on the second pelagic. The sharks are tagged and returned to the water, and interesting information has been obtained about their movements. The photo below shows a fisherman in St Mary's, with a large catch of skates.

Although we had a choppy trip over on the Scillonian, the return trip was calm, and I saw a sooty shearwater, a manx shearwater, a Balearic shearwater, a large sunfish and 2 basking sharks (picture of one below, showing the dorsal fin and the tail fin).
