The lesser horseshoe bat colony at Orielton is thriving, with 240 bats counted. The soprano pipistrelle colony has decreased to 311 bats however.

The S5 is great for taking insect photos: below are male Oederma nobilis, a blue-tailed damselfly, and a broad-bodied chaser.
