24th. Forest of Dean. There is a tame wild boar at the car park NE of Speech House. It is being fed by visitors. The great grey shrike was on Crabtree Hill, and a hawfinch flew over. Other birds included hawfinch and dipper at Parkend, mandarins on Cannop Ponds, though no goshawks seen from New Fancy.
